Free Video Tutorials!

Hey folks,

With all the buzz going around gumroad I decided to join the fun, though in a bit different way. I was already in the progress of creating a video tutorial site from the stuff I recorded in the past couple of years and I thought its a good time to kickstart this thing.

When I started with concept design and digital art there weren`t any tutorials, ca.org and sijun were the first forums and everybody was trying to just simply help each other. I had a really rocky road learning this whole thing without any help and I promised myself I am going to try to share the knowledge what I gathered through the years.

As I am making my money from the industry, I don`t feel I would need an extra revenue from my friends or other aspiring artists. I always believed in free sharing, so all my videos are free and they always will be.

I published around 20 videos now and another 15-20 is on its way, just have to find the time to edit them. My plan is to publish 1-2 every week from now on. And of course I am open to any subject / topic for future videos you would be interested in...

Arrakeen Guard - Painting Process

Some people asked to show my process with the character piece I posted yesterday, so I have put together a step-by-step. Though I have to mention that this was much closer to how I would work (or worked) with traditional mediums, because in my production art I use a lot of textures and other photo or 3d based elements as well.

Plague Winds - Speedpainting Process

Some of you wanted to see my process with this piece and I finally had some time to save out a little step-by-step. As you can see, nothing fancy, using only a couple of layers (7 or 8 in total I think) and doing everything pretty oldschool. I painted almost everything on normal layers and used only one overlay gradient on top at the end and some motion blur on the `effect` layer for the things blowed by the wind. Feel free to ask, if you have any questions...
