Here is a process video I recorded about painting the cd cover of Conquering 20 Years by Frank Klepacki.
Beside other awesomeness Frank composed and produced music for game titles like Dune2, Star Wars: Empire at War or the cult Command&Conquer series. This new album is going to be a bit of a homage to all the styles of the different genres and soundtracks he has done over the past 20 years.
As it was really hard to mix all these genres visually, we decided to impersonate some of the games for the cover to create a box art, similar to the styles classic fighting games from the `90s.
It was a bit different than what I usually do, but it was a great and fun project to work on for a super awesome guy... :)

Besides that though I was wondering what program you used to record your screen while you painted this?

I used the default screen capture option of QuickTime on Mac for this one, but I changed to Camtasia since.
