Thanks man! I am using a Samsung s7 slate tablet, its just much more portable than my macbook pro + wacom intuos4 combo. To be honest, I just started to experiment with this digital plein air stuff, but I really enjoy it so far - more to come! ;)
@Jonathan: It handles PS CS5 and ZBrush4 just like my MBPro, the average battery life when using PS (with quite memory heavy files) was around 4 hours. The pressure sensitivity is only 256, but I did not really notice the difference to be honest. Its great to sketch out ideas on the go and I am sure I could even do a whole project on it from scratch till finish, if it would be necessary. Its never be as strong as a hardcore desktop + wacom / cintiq, but you can`t beat the portability + size/weight + performance. All in all I am absolutely happy with it so far and would highly recommend to any digital artist.

Nice studies, I really like them!
Do you paint them with your laptop and a tablet or do you use something else... I always wanted to know how digital "plein air" studies work...
Greetings

How are you liking the S7 slate? I've been really looking hard at it. Is it easy to achieve similar results as with a wacom+desktop/laptop?
