Lunchtime doodle 699 - Thanksgiving Turkey

Landscape Speedpainting

I created this image as a demo at my cg and concept art class yesterday. I wanted to show the different things what are making a landscape believable, like aerial perspective, using foreground-middleground-background, etc. I talked quite a lot (what is unusual from me hahah), so haven`t got much time left to do the demo painting - done in about 45mins.

Ship Designs - Speedpainting and some Roughs

I made these as a demo for my cg and concept art class yesterday. The demo was about simple techniques for creating ships / aircrafts / vehicles and other hard surface objects with simple Photoshop tools, like the basic selections and the lasso / polygonal lasso.
first rough using the polygonal lasso tool
second rough using a custom brush created from basic shapes
third rough using a custom brush created from a small part of a photo

Silhouette Development

I made these images for my cg & concept art class yesterday. The main idea was to show how can you develop ideas through simple silhouettes and how can you develop those a bit further to establish a successful character design for the entertainment industry.

Lunchtime doodle 690 - Dragon Portrait

Enviro Speedpainting

I made these quick speedpaints as a demo for my cg & concept art class yesterday. The demo was about idea generation through compositional thumbnail sketches and then move to a rough color layout stage with simple coloring techniques.
I haven`t got much time to detail out the final during the class, but I am thinking about to develop it further, as I quite like the overall composition and mood of the piece.
